Le Moyne College Provost Dr. Linda LeMura has named Madden School Executive-in-Residence Jim Joseph as Dean-Elect. The following is her announcement to the Le Moyne community:
To the Le Moyne Community,
I’m pleased to announce that Jim Joseph has been named dean-elect for the Madden School of Business. He will assume the dean’s position in March 2014, following the conclusion of the AACSB reaccreditation process. Until that time, David McCallum S.J., will remain as dean.
Since January 2012 Jim has served as the inaugural executive-in-residence (EIR) for the Madden School. As EIR, Jim writes, lectures, mentors, and creates strategic alliances with major universities both regionally and around the world. He represented Le Moyne at the 2012 International Association of Jesuit Business Schools Global Forum in Barcelona, Spain. He has also been instrumental in building the Madden Mentor program, which connects local business leaders with current business students.
Prior to joining Le Moyne, Jim served as president and CEO of Oneida Ltd., one of the leading housewares brands in the world. He had been at Oneida since 1988 working in a variety of positions domestically and internationally. Early in Jim’s career, he was a Presidential Fellow working for the Reagan administration. In addition, Jim spent the first years of his career with the accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers. A certified public accountant, he holds a Master’s Degree in public administration from Syracuse University’s Maxwell School of Citizenship and a Bachelor’s of Science in accounting from Le Moyne.
Please join me in congratulating Jim on his new position.
Linda LeMura, Ph.D.
